Our most recent Rocksteady Promotions philanthropic effort supported one of our favorite causes – the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund. This nonprofit was founded by the two-time Super Bowl champion coach to help families fighting childhood cancer in northeast Florida and the New York/New Jersey metro area.
The Jay Fund is named for Jay McGillis, who was one of Coughlin’s players during his days as the head coach of Boston College. Leukemia took Jay’s life, and Coughlin witnessed how difficult fighting the disease was for his family. Since then, the nonprofit has helped over 5,000 families and given away more than $10 million in grants.
Joy, our Rocksteady Promotions President, remarked, “This was a great opportunity for our team to become involved in a philanthropic effort to help those in our community as well as on a larger scale. We attended the Jay Fund black-tie gala, so our team members had the chance to dress up and be fancy for the night. There were prizes throughout the evening and a couple members of our team won jerseys. At the end of the event, we pledged to donate to the nonprofit moving forward.”
The Jay Fund gala was an ideal chance to support a great cause and build stronger team bonds at the same time. To learn more about our giveback pursuits, check out the Rocksteady Promotions Newswirefeed.
